by Female Teacher Called out over SIapping a 3-Year old Pupil for not Responding to Questions during lesson in Lagos
A disturbing video shows the moment a school teacher, identified as Stella Nwadigo, repeatedly assaulted a 3-year-old pupil, Abayomi Michael, while attempting to teach him how to write numbers.
The incident reportedly took place at Christ-Mitots School in Ikorodu, Lagos, where female academicians slapped the small child because he could not write the number 61.
In the circulating video, the 3-year-old boy is seen standing in front of the teacher’s desk with his book placed on it.
While he was trying to write his arithmetics, Stella, seemingly frustated, began to strike the young child multiple times as she instructed him to write the number.
The footage raised serious concerns about the safety and well-being of little students in school.
Social media users who watched the video quickly called for the arrest of the female teacher as they expressed their contempt. Some reactions are shown below:
