Tems, the “Try Me” crooner bags her second Grammy Award at the just concluded 67th Grammy Awards which took place on Sunday, January 2nd 2025 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, United States of America (USA), despite the recent wildfires that have devastated parts of the city.
Tems surpassed Tomorrow by Yemi Alade, MMS by Asake featuring Wizkid, Sensational by Chris Brown featuring Davido and Lojay, and Higher by Burna Boy.
After losing the Grammy Award to Tems, singer Davido who has been nominated four times without bagging any Grammy award yet show some class as he took to his verified page on X to congratulate Tems.
Davido wrote; “Congratulations to my one and only 🐐 ! @chrisbrown ! And to the Queen @temsbaby we are proud of you! 💪🏾🌎⭐️.”
However, Tems after seeing the congratulatory message from Davido wasted no time in replying the superstar Afrobeats sensation as she thanks him for congratulating her.
Tems replied; “Thank you so much 🙏🏿🙏🏿.”
