The singer, an indigene of Ede, presented the luxury SUV to the monarch on Wednesday through Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, Chief of Staff to Governor Ademola Adeleke, following an interfaith prayer session marking the king’s milestone celebration.
Meanwhile, a five-day series of events has already commenced in celebration of the Timi of Edeland.
The Timi of Edeland is set to confer chieftaincy titles on distinguished sons and daughters of Ede on February 14 in honor of their contributions to the town’s development, according to the planning committee.
