The 42-year-old actress shared the news in an Instagram post on Monday February 24th, posting a photo of her late father alongside an emotional tribute.
In the post, the grieving movie star described her late father as her greatest cheerleader and first love.
She noted that her late father would forever remain in her heart.
She wrote, “This post has been the hardest to make… I have lost my greatest cheerleader… My Beloved Father, My first Love..The Heavens have gained an Angel. You will forever remain in my heart. Rest on King.”
