Nigerian music industry fans are currently buzzing as Paul Okoye, popularly known as RudeBoy, made a shocking revelation regarding his elder brother and former P-Square manager, Jude Okoye.
In a now-viral video, Paul Okoye boldly accused his twin brother, Peter Okoye (Mr. P), being responsible for putting Jude Okoye in “prison.” He further declared that he is on a mission to free him.
Recall that that Jude Okoye was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) at FHC in Ikoyi over alleged N1.38 billion fraud.
Reacting to the news via his Instagram story, Paul Okoye noted how this is what Peter wanted, as he sent encouraging words to Jude and told him to stay strong.
In the video, the singer showed up at the FHC in Ikoyi on Friday to show support for his elder brother. While speaking to the press, he made it known that Peter was the one who put Jude in prison as he vowed to bring his elder brother out.
In his words, “I’m out here to support Jude because I know the truth. Unfortunately, the way they made it look like, he is a fraud and this. Let’s call a spade a spade. Peter is the one putting Jude in prison, and I am here to bring him out. Peter is my brother but I’m standing for the truth. The same crime they are accusing him that he did, Peter is guilty, Paul is guilty.”
Over the years, the Okoye brothers have had several public fallouts, leading to the disbandment of the legendary P-Square music group in 2017. The feud was reportedly caused by internal family disagreements, with Jude Okoye at the center of the controversy.
At the time, Peter accused Jude of mismanaging their career and insisted that he should no longer be their manager. This led to heated arguments and a bitter separation that lasted for years before their reunion in 2021.
