Recall that the viral Lagos corper Raye made headlines as she refers to the president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a terrible president following hike in the price of goods, making life difficult for Nigerians.
In her words; “Create of Egg I used to buy N800 is now N6,500 I don’t know if there has been any other president that is terrible but you are such a terrible president.”
In a bold Instagram video, the fearless Corper returned from a brief social media break—not to back down, but to face the storm head-on. She fiercely called out those attacking her character instead of addressing the urgent economic issues she had highlighted.
Raye directly confronted a troll who accused her of sleeping around while pretending to struggle under Tinubu’s administration. Infuriated, she dared him to name five people he claimed she had been with, making it clear she wouldn’t be silenced by baseless shaming.
With unwavering conviction, she doubled down on her stance, condemning Nigerians’ misplaced priorities. She argued that in a nation crippled by inflation, policing her lifestyle should be the least of anyone’s concerns—holding leaders accountable should come first.
