40-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo who is second richest player in the world made this known to all and sundry during an interview that also involved his partner and mother of his children Georgina Rodríguez.
Recall that Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez met in 2016 at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Georgina was working as a sales assistant. Their relationship quickly developed, and they made their first public appearance together later that year.
As of the moment of filling this content, Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina have three children together namely Alana Martina – Born on November 12, 2017 and Bella Esmeralda – Born on April 18, 2022. Additionally, Ronaldo has three other children from previous arrangements; Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. (born 2010) as well as Twins Mateo and Eva (born 2017 via surrogacy).
However, over the recent years now, There has been a growing trend of footballers’ wives filing for divorce and securing a significant share of their wealth.
Several factors contribute to this trend, including financial security, infidelity allegations, and irreconcilable differences. In many cases, divorce settlements involve substantial payouts, child custody arrangements, and asset division, often favoring the ex-wives.
Notable footballers like Achraf Hakimi made headlines when his wife, Hiba Abouk, filed for divorce, only to discover that most of his assets were in his mother’s name, preventing her from claiming a large settlement. Meanwhile, other players have faced costly divorces, losing millions in settlements and alimony.
Meanwhile, during the interview, Ronaldo partner Georgina said there have been always a joke about the wedding as people always asks her about when will the weddign occur, but she does respond that it is not up to her.
She said; “They are always joking about the wedding, when is the wedding? snce Jennifer Lopez’s song “The Ring or When” came out, they started singing it to me” And well, this is not up to me.”
Responding during the interview, Cristiano Ronaldo who currently plays for Saudi Arabia Pro League side Al-Nassr FC raises eyebrows following the way he responds to the question with steeze and composure despite his partner presence.
Cristiano Ronaldo said that he always tells his partner Georgina that the marriage will happen when they both get the click and she understands that.
Cristiano added that it could be in a year, 6months, or even in a month but he assures his wife that he is 1000% sure that the marriage will happen.
In his words; “I always tell her “When we get that click.”, like everything with our life and she knows what I am talking about. It could be in a year, it could be six months or it could be in a month, I am 1000 per cent sure that it will happen.”
