In a video making the rounds online today, Uche Montana was superexcited as she sheds tears of joy after being listed among the nominees for the AMVCA 2025.
Recall that in a previous post, Intel Region reported that the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) unveiled the nominees for its 11th edition, celebrating exceptional achievements in African film, television, and digital content from January 1 to December 31, 2024.
The highly anticipated event is set for May 10, 2025, in Lagos, Nigeria, celebrating top talents across various categories. The voting has commenced and will end on 4th May, 2025 at 9PM West African Time.
However, Uche Montana known for her exceptional role in the actress Mercy Aigbe cinematic creation “Thin Line” which was released in December 2024 was nominated for the Best Lead Actress category,
Reacting to the unexecpted development, Uche Montana goes emotional as she gives thank to Giod stressing that she can’t believe she would be among the AMVCA nominee for the year 2025.
She went ahead to give thanks to Mercy Aigbe as well as the cast and crew of the cinematic masterpiece that makes her bag her first AMVCA nomination.
She wrote; “The movie that got me my first nomination at the AMVCA’s as Best Nigerian actress 2025! Congratulations @realmercyaigbe @akay_mason @iamopeajayi the entire crew & cast A masterpiece of a movie! A win for us all !!!!! #thinline”
